How it works
From connection to invoice, step by step
Ordilio follows the way wholesale trade already works. Two businesses connect, the supplier shares a catalogue and prices, the retailer orders for an available delivery date, the supplier confirms, and invoices are issued for the accepted order.
In short
Three steps, the same for suppliers and retailers
-
Connect
A supplier invites a retailer, or a retailer invites a supplier it already works with. The other side approves, and the two businesses can trade.
-
Publish your catalogue
The supplier adds products, decides who sees each one and sets the prices each retailer sees, along with delivery days and cut-off times.
-
Order
The retailer orders at its agreed prices for an available delivery date. The supplier accepts the order, and invoices follow for both sides.
The trading flow
Six steps from first contact to invoice
Once both businesses are set up, every order follows the same path, and every status change is recorded, so both sides can see where things stand.
-
Connect
Either side sends a connection request to the other. The receiving company approves or rejects it. Once accepted, both companies can trade, and either side can disconnect later.
-
Publish the catalogue
The supplier adds products, organises them in categories, decides who can see each one, and sets its delivery days and cut-off times.
-
Agree prices
The supplier sets any custom prices for this retailer: a fixed price, a percentage discount or an amount discount, with optional validity dates.
-
Order
The retailer browses the catalogue at its agreed prices, picks a delivery date from the supplier's schedule and submits the order.
-
Confirm
The supplier accepts or rejects the order, then marks it completed once fulfilled. Every status change is recorded.
-
Invoice
On acceptance, a sales invoice for the supplier and a purchase invoice for the retailer are created, numbered INV-0001 and PINV-0001 onwards in each company's own sequence. Both can download them as PDF.

Getting started
Questions about getting started
How do I connect with a supplier or retailer I already work with?
Find them among discoverable companies on Ordilio and send a connection request. Either side can start it. The other side approves, and then you can trade. Either side can disconnect at any time.
Do I need to verify my business?
Yes. Companies submit their details for a KYC review. The review ends in approval or a rejection with a stated reason. Where resubmission is allowed, you can correct your details and submit again.
Which order statuses are there?
Draft, Submitted, Accepted, Rejected, Completed, Cancelled.
